Dr. Xeniya Ivko

Xeniya Ivko is a research assistant at St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, Saint Petersburg, Russia

Academic Education

Xeniya Ivko graduated from Loughborough University in 2010 and obtained PhD in 2019 in Biology from St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology , Saint Peterburg, Russia, where she was recruted to continue her work as a research assistant.

Research activities

Starting with the research of the biosocial effects of excersising in prevention of geriatiric syndromes, Xeniya Ivko continued to study bioregulation application in treatment of age related pathologies, including clinical studies carried out in Spain in 2018. Further research involves the development and application of bioregulation as preventive medicine to promote healthy longevity and correction of agre related syndromes.

Networking

Xeniya Ivko has authored over 17 publications. She was giving lectures on the role of short peptides in age-related extrapineal melatonin decline regulation in a number of international and domestic symposiums and conferences including 5CC World Congress 2017 (Barcelona), International Symposium of Experts “Effective current approaches in anti-aging medicine and gerontology” 2019 (Stockholm), International Symposium of Experts , IAGG-ER 2019 (Gothenburg). From 2019 is an assistant of the Treasurer of the International Association of Gerantology and Geriatrics European Region.
